Picking the right grey paint color for a client is not as easy as you think… You have to consider the undertones, blue, green, purple, yellow, organge, or red. Warm or Cold!
Undertones can be the deal breaker! Here are a few tips to choose the right paint color:
- Always bring the paint samples home.
- Look at your paint samples in different lights, morning, noon, and night.
- Pick your 3 favorite colors and do some test painting, either directly on the wall or on paper which can be pinned to the wall.
Don’t be surprised to discover that the paint color you loved on the fan deck is not the one you prefer on the wall as it reveals its undertones.
